Freddy Kempf is now in great international demand and future plans include a tour of Japan, performances in the USA, Russia, Germany, Switzerland, Italy and France, and appearances with the RPO under Daniele Gatti and the Moscow Symphony Radio Orchestra under Vladimir Fedoseyev.

He is also passionately committed to chamber music and devotes much time to performing with his Kempf Trio. His first commercial recording, a Schumann recital for the BIS label, has just been released and is due to be followed by recordings of Rachmaninov and Beethoven.

Mr. Kempf's appearance at the Third Annual Miami International Piano Festival of Discovery marked his debut in Miami, Florida.
