the intimate Salon Series presented at the beautiful Aventura Arts & Cultural Center.

The Master Series…

held at the acoustically perfect Amaturo Theatre of the Broward Center for the Performing Arts, explores an entire period in music or focusses on a composer.

The Discovery Series…

the Festival’s crown jewel, held at the beautifully restored, Art Decco gem, the Colony Theatre on Miami Beach. Presented in four consecutive days in May, the Discovery Series showcase piano recitals by newly discovered artists and prodigies.


We are honored to present Professor Frank Cooper as Lecturer in Residence to enhance the complete Festival Experience. The Miami International Piano Festival is unique in that we strive to assist the musicians as they develop their careers. This approach, attracts an enormous wealth of talent which translates into amazing concert experiences for our appreciative audience. Each newly discovered artist is provided with career guidance and exposure, which for some, has resulted in coveted awards such as the Gilmore Award (the highest recognition bestowed on any pianist) and signed contracts with notable management agencies as well as prestigious recording opportunities.
