The Miami International Piano Festival has dedicated its entire 2013 Master Series to the music of the French Impressionists and 150th anniversary of the birth of Claude Debussy.

Impressionism in both music and painting focuses on a suggestion and an ambiance rather than on a specific strong emotion or the literal depiction of a story.
During the three days of the 2013 Master Series classical music event in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, the Miami International Piano Festival will present four distinct programs that focus exclusively on the music of the French Impressionists in order to create an atmosphere that will captivate the audience and allow them to fully experience the essence of this extraordinary music performed by some of today’s greatest modern masters.
If you are a fan of the arts, then this series will appeal to you – a marriage of the French Impressionism art movement & Music through the magic of piano repertoire.
Don’t miss out on your chance to experience the glimmering sound, color and freedom these series will bring you on. Great seats are available whether for one performance or an entire subscription to the Masters Series.
Ticket prices range from $15-$50.
