We are so grateful to have you as part of our Miami International Piano Festival family.   You are helping to shape the future of the great pianists we have embraced by investing in our mission and inspiring them to guide the next generation of pianists as they move into the future.   Your support and presence mean the world to us.

This Season we celebrate our 25th Anniversary. This important Anniversary is a milestone in our ongoing journey. In this quarter-century, MIPF has provided our artists with a ‘home,’ an unique space where these compelling artists can unleash their creativity and realize their dreams as performers to inspire our audience, their peers, and the next generation of young pianists.

We feel energized by 25 years of discovery and are moving forward into the future with renewed inspiration, making a difference, not only in the lives of our artists, but in the experiences, we bring to our audience.  It is the combination of the compelling artists we present to our community, paired with daring and innovative projects, that makes the MIPF truly unique.

We feel so proud that, this year, Reed Tezloff’s electrifying performance of the Schumann Concerto under the brilliant leadership of Conductor Hobart Earle was selected by South Florida Classical Review as one of the 10 best and most important performances this season.  

Our passion for the piano is certainly reflected in the unprecedented number of recitals we present every season, a total of 30 under the umbrella of the festival.  Our piano family is expanding, and we are thrilled to be able to find new opportunities for them to share their magic with you.  

Because we want to perpetuate the love of music, support our artists and inspire the next generation we have expanded our mission through the Piano Academy inaugurated in 2015 at the beautiful campus of Nova Southeastern University.  Our philosophy is unique and needs to be shared internationally and our artists participate not only as performers, but as inspiring mentors of the next generation of pianists.  For two consecutive summers (2022-2023) brought this unique program to the historical Villa Medici in Briosco in Italy.

The response was overwhelming with the attendance of more than 55 pianists from all over the world.   Inspired by this amazing experience in the Academy in Italy, Dr. Vilma Biaggi, one of our most ardent supporters and board member, felt compelled to bring this experience to Miami because wholeheartedly she felt that our community needed to experience the tremendous power of music of gathering creative geniuses and aspiring pianists in a retreat. She has opened the doors of her charming and elegant hotel Cadet Hotel in Miami Beach for the second year. We are so grateful.  The Winter program of the MIPFA will take place from January 3 – January 9 and we encourage you to join us and attend interesting masterclasses in the Hotel every day and recitals every night at the Woman’s Club in Miami Beach. All masterclasses and performances are free - our gift to the community.

As we enter 2024, I personally feel reinvigorated by the many accomplishments we have achieved and

I feel grateful, hopeful, and optimistic about the future of classical music.  Our artists are innovators and visionaries and the MIPF offers them a platform to create, explore and challenge our audience. Through the creation of our state-of-the-art Virtual Platform, we will make sure that every performance and every project will endure for a long time.
