We are so grateful to have you as part of our Miami International Piano Festival family.   You have been instrumental in shaping the future of the great pianists we have embraced, by believing in our mission, as we guide them into the future.   Your support and presence mean the world to us.

As we move forward into the future, we feel energized and inspired by 27 years of discovery. Each new season brings renewed inspiration, making a difference, not only in the lives of our artists, but in the experiences, we bring to you, our audience.  It is the combination of the compelling artists we present to our community, paired with daring and innovative projects, that makes MIPF truly unique.

This important Anniversary is a milestone in our ongoing journey.   The MIPF prides itself for providing our artists with a ‘home,’ and a unique space where they can share their creativity, philosophy, and vision, when performing and inspiring our audience, their peers, and the next generation of young pianists.  The unprecedented number of recitals we have in store this season (25) shows our passion for the piano and makes Miami today the capital of Piano in the world.  

We are proud to state that the Miami International Piano Festival is today a recognized brand that resonates all over the world as unique, controversial and creative, as the New York Times described it in a featured article on Jan. 5, 2003. This is A Piano Festival That Was Born to Be Contrary, and its mission carries a powerful conviction.

Our mission has never become more relevant. In 2015, we expanded our mission through the creation of the Miami International Piano Academy, presenting seven unique programs in Miami and Italy.  Since then, more than 400 young emerging pianists have benefited from working with our artists. We offer TWO unique programs every year.  The Winter edition in Miami Beach, at the beautiful Cadet Hotel in Miami Beach, thanks to the generosity and vision of Dr. Vilma Biaggi an important board member in our organization and  the support of the City of Miami Beach and the Summer Edition, at the Gustav Mahler Cultural Center in the Italian Alps in the city of Dobbiaco.

The response to the Academy is overwhelming with the attendance of more than 55 pianists from all over the world for its enriching program that includes, recitals by our artists, participants, enlightening lectures and masterclasses.

As we enter 2025, I feel grateful, hopeful, and optimistic about the future of classical music.  Our artists are innovators and visionaries and the MIPF offers them a platform to create, explore and challenge our audience. Through the creation of our state-of-the-art Virtual Platform, we will make sure that every performance and every project will have an afterlife and be seen all over the world.
